Wilma Rose (Finney) Bowers

Wilma Bowers, 66 years of age, passed away at 11:55pm on Thursday, January 14, 2021, at Du Quoin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Wilma was born on October 17, 1954, in Du Quoin, Illinois, to the late Raymond and Mary Rebecca (Nevill) Finney.

Wilma leaves to cherish her loving memory to daughter- Rebecca (Jamison), sons- Charles, Billie, and Robert, granddaughters- Brittany (Ethan), Bridgette, Shaye (Cody), Kelsey, Keelie, Roni, grandson- Rodney, and ten great-grandchildren, siblings- Norma, Carl, Otis, Charles, Robert and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Wilma was a homemaker who loved spending time with her family and was an avid animal lover. She was loved and will be missed dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings-Mary, Raymond Jr., Loretta, Wanda, George, Richard, and Virginia and grandson- Christian.

Wilma’s wishes were to be cremated and to have her loved ones together for a celebration of her life. Maxton-Rosado Funeral Home in Du Quoin is assisting the family with final arrangements.
