Steven Miller Obituary

Steven Ray Miller, age 64, of Du Quoin, passed away at 2:20am, on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.

Steven was born in Murphysboro on November 29, 1959, the son of Mamie Nadine (Stanton) and Carl William Miller, Sr. He married the love of his life, Carrie Brown in Murphysboro on February 18, 1983. He loved working on cars and had worked as a diesel mechanic and truck driver. In his spare time and when he was able, he enjoyed fishing and volleyball. He liked to make people laugh and always tried to make things fun. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be dearly missed by all those that knew and loved him.

Steven attended the Faith Assembly of God Church in Du Quoin. His wish before he passed was to come home so he could attend church one more time. He did not make it home but is now attending the most heavenly celebration above.
