Shawn Glover

Shawn Glover, age 33, of Coulterville, passed away unexpectedly at 8:33 am on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at the Sparta Community Hospital.

Shawn was born in Tallahassee, Florida on May 20, 1990, the son of Sherry (Presutti) Tweedy and the late Jeffrey Glover.

He had a smile that could light up any room and will be dearly missed by all those that knew and loved him.

Survivors include his mother- Sherry Tweedy of Coulterville; his three young children that he adored more than anything; sister- Tammy (Shane) Stricker of Coulterville; brother- Jeffrey Glover of Coulterville; sister- Jody Glover of Coulterville; sister- Beth Bell Glover of Du Quoin; sister- Christin Presutti of Coulterville; three uncles- Jeffrey, Bruce, and Roy Presutti; several nieces and nephews; and many and extended family members he cherished.

Shawn was preceded in death by his father.

Loved ones gathered for a private slumber room viewing at Maxton-Rosado Funeral Home in Du Quoin on Monday, March 25, 2024, for the family to say their final goodbyes to a wonderful son, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend prior to cremation rites. 

Celebration of life services are pending and will be announced here as service details become available. Family and friends are encouraged to remember Shawn in your own way, reflecting on the moments shared and the impact he had on your lives.

The family requests memorial donations be made to Shawn's funeral care fund at Maxton-Rosado Funeral Home, to help the family with Shawn's unexpected final expenses.
