Adopted in April of 2020 and left this earth on April 10, 2023

You showed up one day out of the blue, a beautiful orange kitty. who we named Lucky.  You didn't have a home or people who cared for you. We decided to make you our very own. You needed lots of love, a soft bed, and plenty of food to eat. 

During the three years you were with us, you became our family. You enjoyed being outside in the sunshine, curled up in one of our laps, and never resisted kitty treats. You had your place in our hearts.

When we discovered you were sick, we brought you into the house and tried to make you as comfortable as possible. We knew your time was limited and that the illness you had would finally take you from us. 

When you got really bad I moved your cat bed to sit on the table next to my bed. You would sit on your bed and wait for me to lie down. Only then would you curl up and go to sleep. In the mornings, you would also wait for me to get up, sitting in your bed and waiting for my feet to hit the floor. 

You were surrounded by the ones who loved you when you left this world. We will truly miss you and will never forget you. You were so sweet and loving and we only hope you felt all the love and care from us. You coming into our lives was the best thing.
