Larry Dean Roedersheimer

Larry Dean Roedersheimer, age 79, of Dowell, passed away at 12:44 am on Monday, March 25, 2024, at the John Cochran VA Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri.

Larry was born on August 26, 1944, the son of Daisy Elizabeth (Fletcher) McClure and Harold Roedersheimer.  He proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Survivors include his son- Robbie Lee (Suki) Roedersheimer of Bellview, Florida; daughter- Rita Rae (Randy) Newfarmer of Murphysboro; two grandchildren- Angela Stroh and James Roedersheimer; and his sister- Mary Ann Little.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, grandson- David Kleinschmidt, Jr., and three siblings- Darlene, Dolores, and David "Butch" Roedersheimer.

Graveside memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 26, 2024, at Mound City National Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the Ritual Team Post 178 with assistance from the United States National Guard honors detail unit.
