Justin Ross Wright

Justin Ross Wright, age 42, of Benton, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024, at 6:15 A.M. at Franklin Hospital in Benton after a brave battle with various health conditions. 

Justin was born in St. Louis, Missouri on April 18, 1981, the son of Jim and Cheryl (Brown) Wright. He married Billie J. Martin in Zeigler on April 21, 2018.  Prior to his illnesses, Justin had worked at Aisin and Continental Tire.

Survivors include his wife- Billie Wright of Benton; father- Jim Wright of St. Louis, Missouri; son- Matthew James Gergely of Benton; daughter- Faith Marie Martin of Benton; son- Skylar Allen Martin of Benton; granddaughter- Alicia Donna Marie Spencer of West Frankfort; and two brothers- James and Josh Wright of St. Louis, Missouri.

Justin was preceded in death by his mother and his grandparents. 

As per Justin's wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A time of visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Maxton-Rosado Funeral Home (11 South Hickory Street; Du Quoin, IL). Family and friends are encouraged to gather and share in a time of fellowship and memories of Justin. 

Memorial donations be made to Justin's funeral care fund at Maxton-Rosado Funeral Home, to help the family with Justin's final expenses.  To make an online donation, click the donation tab on Justin's obituary page.
