Joseph Samuel Loucks

Coulterville- Joseph Samuel Loucks, age 69, of Coulterville, passed away peacefully at 4:00pm on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Joseph was born in Cutler on December 15, 1951, the son of Joseph Marshall and Dorothy Mae (Shaw) Loucks. He married Betty Light in Missouri on August 6, 1979. Together, they have shared more than forty-one years of marriage.

Survivors include his wife- Betty Loucks of Coulterville

Son and Daughter-in-law- Joseph Dwayne and Deanna Loucks of Cutler

Daughter and Son-in-law- Melinda and Rich McIntyre of Steeleville

Daughter- Misty Loucks of Coulterville

Daughter and Son-in-law- Kristi and Daniel Henry of Coulterville

Fifteen Grandchildren

Eight Great Grandchildren with two on the way

Five brothers- Bill, Jim, Donald, and Gerald Loucks

     Dean Nevell

Sister- Brenda Nevell

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers- Harry Nevell and Clarence Loucks.

Loved ones gathered for a private slumber room viewing at Maxton-Rosado Funeral Home in Du Quoin on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at 6:30pm for the family to say their final goodbyes to a most wonderful and loving man prior to cremation rites.
