Obituary
Eleanor Alice Cunningham, age 81, of Pinckneyville, passed away on June 3, 2023, at Barnes Hospital in St Louis, Missouri.
Eleanor was born in Pinckneyville on July 19, 1941, the daughter of Neil and Alice (Knapp) Cunningham. She graduated from Missouri Baptist School of Nursing and focused her life on operating room nursing in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Southern Illinois. She enjoyed playing games and bridge with her friends.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents- Neil and Alice Cunningham, her sister- Betty Steele, and her niece- Kristin.
She is survived by her brother- Ted (Cathy) Cunningham, sister- Carol Heisner, brother-in-law- Rex Steele, nieces- Amy (Glenn) Coeler, Michelle (David) Kimmel, Julie (Donnie) Wilder, and her nephews- David (Janet) Steele, Patrick (Debbie) Steele, and Kyle Heisner.
