Free Cremation: There are organizations and charities that offer to help those in need. They are not always automatic and not always free cremations, but we can help to see if you qualify. We have years of experience finding options for low-cost cremations in Southern Illinois. We are a true servant to the Southern Illinois community and will never turn a family away without affordable funeral options. That includes payment plan funeral options and low-cost cremations.
Veteran Services: Veterans are very near and dear to our hearts. We know many families that have been led to believe Veteran's qualify for a free cremation or burial. Veterans can be eligible to receive reimbursements for funeral services. But there are many requirements that have to be met. We educate Veterans families on those requirements. Body Donation: There are advantages and disadvantages of body donations. Understand even if someone applies for body donation today there is no guarantee of acceptance at time of death. There are very strict regulations in place, which can disqualify someone at time of death. When choosing body donation, it can take anywhere from weeks to many months before the loved one's ashes are returned. This free option does not always include basic services of the funeral director and staff including removal from place of death, filling of necessary legal paperwork, and open and clear communication.
