We are thrilled to announce the GRAND REOPENING of what was formerly known as the historic Queen-Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois. (Now under the name of Maxton-Rosado Funeral Home) This historic funeral home has been a cornerstone of the Centralia community for so many generations and families. We are honored to have the opportunity to restore it to its former glory. Stay tuned for updates on all the progress, reopening date, reopening celebrations, including a special open house event, tours, and more!
We are proud to share that we have created a family lounge. We feel it is important to give families a place to escape from service when little things might overwhelm them. Children become tired from the long days and nights. We know the value of a room like this and want our families to feel at home and use the space they need. With 30 years of experience, every room we create has meaning. There is also a children's activity corner.
It has many tables, a new refrigerator, a microwave, a TV (for tribute slideshow or if family needs for children), and a coffee bar. Like the name of the chapel, we have named the lounge after another great, past community leader. The name of this room is The Luer Lounge.
Please share this helpful feature with the community to help the community manage grief during a time of loss.
Follow our Facebook page to watch for more updates.
We provide affordable options for burial and cremation in Centralia Illinois.
